Kwanza is a Swahili word meaning first. It is also an African American festival celebrated annually from December 26 to January 6: This is not a religious holiday.
The choice of Kwanza for my series of works such as artistic creation is based on the principles of Kwanza second aspect in which I identify and illustrate this work, faith, work, determination and commitment.

Celebrating Kwanza: the African Americans want to live their plural identity, they refer to immutable values (principles of Kwanza). These two worldviews are complementary.
The African world from which they come and the world they live in U.S.
By living their identity is multifaceted, it combines both worlds bearer of values (traditional values, modern values)

In addition to the principles of Kwanza where I find myself, Kwanza is an illustration of this dialogue of cultures of this duality that is our life. The series Kwanza is the result of a journey, a long reflection and hard work. I find a style to me that no claim: they can say "this is such.
Spontaneously seeing the work and it is only then that I can talk about Kwanza as a true artistic creation. Based on experience, determination.

A painter replied that one day someone told him about his work:
- "This is a just a line. "
- "Yes, this line represents ten years of experience. "

Kwanza is this dialogue between my work and I made so far: an achievement that reflected what I felt and not just what I saw. Kwanza gave meaning to my ideas, you can feel that strength in the Kwanza, this determination to go all the way: I was drawn to the bottom of myself for Kwanza.

Each work outside of the mystery that surrounds it is a unique moment.
I wanted to give another meaning to the Kwanza is the conception of blackness defined by the late President Leopold Sedar Senghor: that is to say, give concrete meaning to abstract ideas.
These features twisted, these lines, these movements, these incredible colors and figures is not the result of an accident or a mistake: everything is intentional.
What is important: it captures the spirit of the subject and to bring out the essential.
These anomalies are the result of this belief in a spiritual essence of the real world, in the intimate fusion of  the visible and invisible.
